I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care my classmates and I received at Echo Lake Inn last weekend. It was our second (and last!) section retreat as MBA students. You and your team made sure it was an extremely memorable one. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that it was not only the inn that was charming, but also the team! We were there for less than 48 hours, but one would have thouqht we had been there for weeks judqinq by the way in which the team qreeted us and made an effort to remember our names. The inn itself was extremely well maintained – all the common areas and rooms were spotless. The basement with the pool table and other games had a very relaxing atmosphere – it was evident that a lot of thought had gone into putting it together. Handling 67 MBA students (and 3 babies!) is never an easy task, but you and your team made it a special experience for all of us. Evervthinq was handled perfectly – from our very specific food requests and restrictions, to the constantly changing number of guests, to keepinq breakfast service open for over an hour lonqer than usual. We were made to feel very comfortable – it felt less like a hotel, and more like a home! Somethinq that stood out particularly was the food – especially our meal on Saturday night. Every single dish was outstanding. Please pass on my compliments to the chef -people are still raving about the desserts! I also wanted to highlight my favorite memory of the trip – making s’mores in the firepit that you very kindly set up for us. We had a great trip, and I have recommended the Echo Lake Inn to all my friends and family. Thank you for helping us create memories that will last us a lifetime! S I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Dear Tom and Team, Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful time at your B&B! My boyfriend and I recently joined you for two nights in room fl, after three nights and three big days of snowboarding at Okemo. The transition to the peacefulness and coziness of Echo Lake Inn was just what we needed! We had the most enjoyable meal with you on our first night. The entire dining experience that evening was outstanding, from the couple glasses of wine we enjoyed in our room that we purchased from the little store down the road, to the drink we enjoyed from the pub before being escorted to the dining room, and most of the all the most delicious, fresh, hot, created-with-thought and made-with-love food we could have asked for. It was the best dinner I’ve ever had in my 35 years of living! I had the ravioli and my squeeze had the steak special, forgive me, but I forget what it was. Our room was just perfect, with the large cozy bed and quaint, romantic features. We most certainly enjoyed our jacuzzi and fireplace with the extremely brisk temperatures outside. Cassie (sp?) was enjoyable at dinner and our breakfast server each morning was delightful as well. Please extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who touched our experience, and most definitely to the chef. The vegetarian ravioli was UNFORGETTABLE. Though a trip back to the area is unlikely for us since we reside in Michigan, we will most certainly be spreading the word of our experience and cherishing the memories we created forever! I have stayed here now three times and every time I continue to be amazed. Below is a review of my experience getting married at the venue!

Incredible would be an understatement. The Echo Lake Inn was everything we wanted and then some.
First, the property: it is beautiful and has everything from lawn games to a pool to the lake and canoes/kayaks. When you have a wedding here the property becomes exclusively yours so all of the people at the inn were our guests and we got to have an intimate weekend with all of our attendees. The wooded dell area for the ceremony is simply breathtaking. There is even a tavern downstairs where you can continue the party afterwards. Lots of fun details too including a wishing well and archway,great for photographs. The tent has birch trees on the pool.

The staff: the staff here is above and beyond. They were so attentive to our every need and several people commented to us how great they were. It seemed they knew what we needed even before we asked. We were treated like royalty here. The owner Tom was so caring about everything we needed and quick to respond to our every need. We were planning the wedding long distance and he’d jump on the phone with us late night to go over a question. He was thorough and organized and so caring about our wedding we knew we were in good hands. I cannot say enough about Tom or Neil who truly did everything to make it the best day/wedding weekend ever.

The food: the food was spectacular. From the made to order breakfast each morning to dinner it was very good. Everything is locally sourced and many of our guests arrived early so we got to try the prix fix meal they have on Thursday. It was great. The appetizers and buffet were incredible. Many of our guests who commented on the food and deliciousness.

Lastly but certainly not least the prices are very very reasonable and the bride and groom get free drinks all weekend as well as a complimentary stay. We got an entire weekend for what some people spend for an evening event.
Our overall experience was amazing and we wish we could have a wedding here again. can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary here.

Had my son’s wedding at this venue. Location is beautiful, green state at its best. The staff was fantastic, very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Can’t think of a better place.

We were staying nearby in self catering accommodation but were so pleased to find this gem of a restaurant. Once we had discovered it ,it eclipsed everything else we tried and we just kept going back, both for breakfasts and evening meals. The food was a revelation! Imaginative, top quality. The service was lovely as well, the people were extremely hospitable. It made our entire holiday and I would like to say thank you to them and to congratulate them on “getting it right”!
