Sarah
and Ryan "We don't know where to begin to thank you" |
|
When we
reflect back on the past 18 months culminating on August 11 - we are
overwhelmed with joy, laughter and a sense of peace. Thank you for making
this day possible. We could not have done it without you. Thank you
for your support, your patience, your enthusiasm and your generosity
that made our wedding day better than a dream."
We thought getting engaged in Paris at midnight on New Year's Eve 1999 would be the best night of our lives. However, our wedding at the Echo Lake Inn greatly surpassed the magic of our engagement. My (the bride's) grandmother and grandfather ran the Echo Lake Inn in the 1930's - 1940's. Since that time we have all fallen in love with Tyson and visit the area regularly throughout the year. Therefore, the Echo Lake Inn was our first choice for a wedding celebration weekend. Planning the events with Laurence could not have been more stress-free and enjoyable. Helpful suggestions were offered every step of the way although he was also very open to our creative input. Laurence offered constant reassurance and support throughout the months of planning. As August 11th drew near, Laurence's guidance and assistance increased tremendously to relieve our growing nervousness. Little did we know there was nothing to worry about. Friday evening, at 6:00 PM, marked the beginning of the festivities. From that moment on the staff at the Echo Lake Inn exceeded even our highest expectations. During the wedding weekend, the hospitality, generosity and courtesy of the Echo Lake Inn staff was incredible! Chef Kevin provided imaginative and delicious meals that our guests raved about. Events took place like clockwork thanks to the careful, in-depth planning that Laurence and his staff provide. We were free to enjoy our guests, focus on our wedding and have FUN! As Sunday Brunch came to an end, it felt like the whole weekend had been a dream. It was a dream that our family, friends, Laurence and the Echo Lake Inn staff helped make come true. Thank you for everything!
